Use SKUtrak's Product Catalogue to link retailer product codes to your internal definitions.
Mapping Products
To manage your retailer product mappings, head to Product Catalogue > Retailer Mappings. There are three ways to map retailer products to the product definitions you’ve provided in Product Master:
-
Via CSV upload – if your mappings are already stored in a file or spreadsheet
-
Using the Quick Match tool – to map several products in one go
-
Using the standard Map option – to map a specific product individually
How to upload product mappings
Follow this guide to make sure your data is in the right format before uploading.
-
Above the Unmapped Retailer Products table, click Upload Matches
-
Click Upload File, select your CSV file, then click Confirm
-
Map the appropriate columns in your upload file to the right fields
-
Click Upload
-
A report will show how many mappings were loaded successfully
-
Click Done to close the pop-up
🎉 Mapping complete! You’ll now see your internal product mapped to the relevant retailer product in the Mappings table.
💡 Helpful tips
-
For a mapping to be accepted, both the retailer SKU and the internal unique code must be recognised by SKUtrak
-
If a retailer product already has a mapping, uploading a new one will overwrite the existing entry
-
If any mappings fail, review the error messages in the upload report, correct the affected rows in your file, and try again
How to use the Quick Match function
-
Above the table, click the Quick Match button
-
A mapping pop-up will appear. From the suggestions, select the product definition that corresponds to the retailer SKU at the top
-
If it’s not listed, use the search bar. Still can’t find it? Click Create Product to add a new definition
-
Click Save and Next to confirm the mapping and move to the next retailer product
-
Repeat the process – use Skip if you want to come back to a product later
-
When you’re done, click Save and Close
🎉 Mapping complete! Your products will now appear in the Mappings table.
💡 Helpful tips
Use the filters on the Pending page to narrow down the list—by retailer, category, or other criteria—before launching Quick Map. This makes bulk mapping quicker and more focused.
