Learn how to use the Promotion Stock dashboard

The Promotion Stock dashboard is an Essential plan feature.

Summary

The Promotion Stock dashboard helps you manage your stock through all stages of a promotion. It shows daily sales uplift, stock levels and on-shelf availability to help guide interventions to maximise promo performance. Use it to:

  • Identify emerging stock and availability problems during key promotional periods
  • Quickly spot depots with too much or too little stock, and intervene to maintain on-shelf availability while minimising waste.

Setting up the dashboard

The dashboard gives you six configuration options in the top bar, from left to right:

  • Start Date: set the Start date of your promotion.
  • Length of Promo: Choose the length of your promotion
  • End Date: This cannot be changed and is based on the start date plus the length of the promotion
  • Delivery Window (DW): Set the number of before the promo start date to calculate more accurate Depot Inbound or Store Inbound metrics.
  • Delivery Window Date: This cannot be changed and is based on the start date minus the delivery window.
  • Promotion Period: View the screen by the full promotion date range (start to end date) or for the latest date in the promotion

💡 If you have selected to view the latest day in the promo, the Depot Inbound and Store Inbound metrics are also for the latest day of the promo and do not include the delivery window.

What's on screen

There are four components on-screen, from top left to bottom right:

  1. KPI tiles: at the top of the page show your headline figures for the selected date range. Each tile is made up of a primary metric (larger number) and a secondary metric (smaller number).
  2. Product breakdown Table: shows the same metrics as the KPI but at the SKU level. Below each of the 6 KPIs are two cells showing the primary metric and the supporting metric.
  3. Depot breakdown bar chart: shows three bars representing,  Depot Shorts by SKU during the delivery window, Depot Stock for the latest day of the promo and Store Shorts by SKU during the delivery window
