Sainsbury's Horizon and Circana SupplyHub

The current status relating to the impending replacement of Sainsbury's Horizon system

Sainsbury's are replacing their Horizon reporting system with the Circana SupplyHub application. SKUtrak currently sources your Sainsbury's data from Horizon and we will be transitioning to use SupplyHub once we have the relevant agreements in place.

This page represents our current knowledge on Sainsbury's migration and our plan & progress towards switching to the new SupplyHub application as the source of Sainsbury's data within SKUtrak.

 

What we know about Sainsbury’s and Circana SupplyHub 

As notified on July 30th, we have been working with Circana to reach an agreeable (three-way) Third Party Agreement ("TPA") to cover Atheon, Circana and Sainsbury's and define how SKUtrak will receive, process, analyse and supply SupplyHub data to you. We have been discussing the draft agreement with Circana over the last few weeks and we are progressing towards a conclusion.

Next steps

  • Once this three-way agreement is in place, we will reach out to you individually to sign a TPA to use SupplyHub data within SKUtrak. 
  • These TPAs will define our respective responsibilities to ensure we use SupplyHub data the way Circana deems acceptable; the SupplyHub service and its data licence(s) are Circana's to define and administer.
  • Many of you may already be reviewing similar agreements with Circana for other suppliers e.g. field sales/marketing agencies etc. and we expect the SKUtrak TPA to be of a similar nature.

What we are doing to ensure we're ready

We are now reviewing the proposed mechanism of data transfer from Circana, including sample files. We are refining this to ensure it is fully automated, highly reliable and requires no administration from you. Once the details of this process are certain we will prepare appropriate material and share this update with you.
